Hartzell Painting has proudly served Southeast Florida communities for over 75 years. I’m Ed Holman, and I’ve been part of that legacy since the 1970s, when I took over the painting division of what began in 1948 as a roof cleaning company founded by Wilbur Hartzell. By then, Hartzell had already expanded into roof paint manufacturing, laying the foundation for quality and innovation.
When my brother George joined me, we set out to grow Hartzell Painting into more than just a service; we wanted to be a trusted partner for homeowners, businesses, and the communities they serve. We expanded our offerings to include full-scale painting, weatherproofing, and specialty coatings. We built long-term relationships with homeowners’ associations (HOAs), property managers, and clients who rely on us to get the job done right.
In 1992, we launched our Community Beautification Program, a proactive maintenance service designed to protect residential developments while preserving budgets and curb appeal.
